| About Us Recently I realized that I spent much of my life here in Chicago with few trips or travels. The reason for this was not having a good solution for my pets. I wanted to feel they were cared for, stress free and happy. And of course, I wanted to feel the same. My solution was to have friends stay at my home to care for my pets. Other times I had them bring their pets to my home in return. And so it has been for many years. In short, I saw a need that was not being filled for many other pet guardians that is when I decided to open my business. So with that in mind I have brought my passion for cats and dogs and their well being and yours into a service. Kitty Kat Vacation Care: Just imagine, your Kitty Godmother appearing for 1/2 hour each day to feed your feline, change the water, clean the cat box and provide kitty scratches if your feline is "in the mood". And as time provides, I offer some play time, too, depending on your cat's desire! Kitty won't even know you are gone! Holiday Dog Inn: If on the other hand, your dog is your concern, I will board your small to medium dog provided they are cat tolerant. In exchange, I offer a cage free home and plenty of belly rubs and love. Your dog will have his own vacation adventure. Additional services may include watering your plants, bringing in the mail, additional pets, etc. Our fees begin at $17.00 per 1/2 hour per cat/per visit. Dog boarding begins at $35.00 per day. I will send you emails, text messages or make your pet a cyber star on my blog while you are away so you can check in from where ever you are and see how your pet is doing. | Company history I bring you a lifetime of animal care experience focused on cat and dog care. I am the Mom of 2 kitties, Annie Kitty and Charlie Brown. Both are shelter
and or throw aways that have made my life brighter. I have shared my life with
other dear cat and dog companions going back to my youngest days. In fact, I
think my Grandmother's dog, Smokey was my first best friend! Over the years I
stayed close to home because I would not kennel my companions. I required that
someone stay at my house if I needed to go away. Truth is, that is pretty hard
to arrange. In the end, I simply did not travel much. So I came to the
conclusion, other people are just like me. We fret and don't know what to do
when we want or need to travel. Thus, Cat And Dog Nanny was born! I am here to
fill the needs of others just like me who want a cage free environment for their
companions. And that is what I provide. A home away from home for your dog. And,
of course, kitty gets to stay home while you are away so she doesn't fret. So
that is what I do, is to help fill a need for others that I also share. I serve the cats of Lincolnwood,Skokie,Edgebrook,Sauganash,Forest Glen,Rogers Park, Lakeview Des Plaines, Evanston
and surrounding areas.
Dog care is from wherever your home is to mine.

I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THE CAT NANNY,
MARIA SAVED ME......I HAD TO LEAVE TOWN UNEXPECTEDLY AND MY NEIGHBOR TOLD ME
THAT I SHOULD CALL MARIA TO WATCH OVER THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, LUCY. SHE IS A
BEAUTIFUL TABBY CAT THAT LOVES LOTS OF ATTENTION. MARIA WAS ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF
MY KITTY IN MY HOME WHICH I WAS HAPPY ABOUT. SHE EVEN BOUGHT MY CAT A NEW TOY TO
PLAY WITH AND SENT ME A PICTURE ON MY BLACKBERRY OF LUCY PLAYING!!! IT DOES'NT
GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT!! FIVE STAR SERVICES!!!

can't even begin to say how happy I am
that I found Maria. I had to go out of town for 4 days and needed someone to
watch my 9 week old puppy. I had a hard time finding someone to watch her b/c of
her age and size. I contacted Maria and she got back to me right away and
couldn't of been more friendly. I was very nervous about leaving my little baby
and she reassured me that everything was going to be ok. To top it off I found
out that my puppy had a case of pneumonia and needed to take numerous meds.
Maria handled it with professionalism by inquiring through my vet and still took
her in. I was able to have a fabulous time away b/c I felt comfortable leaving
her at Maria's house. I received numerous emails and pictures throughout my time
away. It made me feel comfortable to know how everything was going and she was
ok. I will definitely be using Maria again. It was a fabulous
experience!

When we first began shopping around for
dog sitters, it was very discouraging. There are tons of boarding options in the
city, but come to find out, almost none of them have grassy outdoor space for
the dogs to use for bathrooms. (We learned this the hard way when we left our 10
month old puppy at one of these city doggy daycare facilities for a 10 hour day
back in September. She flipped out when we picked her up and had to go to the
bathroom so badly she nearly exploded because the "outdoor" area used by this
and every other daycare facility we called was an asphalt parking lot. We only
found this out after we picked her up because her urgent need to go to the
bathroom prompted us to ask some very pointed questions about it. Our poor puppy
had been trained to use grass for the bathroom; going on asphalt was too close,
in her mind, to our wood floors that we had expressly taught her not to use. We
felt awful that she had been subjected no bathroom for a full 10 hours!) That's
when we did extensive research and found Maria - the best dog sitter
ever!
Maria lives in a lovely neighborhood in Lincolnwood and loves
animals! Our pup gets great one-on-one attention because Maria doesn't take too
many animals at one time. Our pup gets lots of walks and best of all, she has
real grass to use for the bathroom! I used to hate the thought of leaving my dog
behind while we went away, but with Maria, I know she's in good hands. We get
text message updates and pictures while we're out of town so we know she's doing
well.
Not only do we love Maria as our dog sitter, but we love her as a
person. She's friendly, kind, dependable, and flexible. I would NEVER go back to
one those corporate, city facilities now that we've found Maria. She's the
best!
